Ingredients
400 - 500g Salmon - I use skinless
1 heaped tsp Miso Paste
1/4 cup Yakitori Sauce
1 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 Garlic Clove Grated - Optional
1 tsp Grated Ginger - Optional
Fresh Coriander - Optional
Sprinkle of Salt
Method
Add everything into a bowl and give it a mix till combined. You can also add everything straight to the bag/packet that the salmon comes in too to save on washing up.
Let the salmon sit in the marinade for 30 mins or up to a few hours, it's up to you how much time you have.
Because the marinade has a little bit of sugar in it we don't want to cook it too high or it'll just burn.
On a medium heat you can lightly preheat your non stick pan and put the salmon in (no marinade - keep it for later!), there's no need for any oil as the fish will release its own. I partly cover my pan with a lid, firstly it stops unwanted splatters all over the stove and secondly it helps cook the inside.
Depending how you like your salmon cooked and the size of your fillets this will change the timing. Mine were fairly thin and I like it cooked all the way through.
I cooked mine for about 2 minutes on each side and then turned the stove up a little and added in the remaining marinade and a drizzle of water (if you want it to be a little more runny).
Once you begin to see a few bubbles coat your fish and serve.
Enjoy x
Ps: Serve with broken rice and my Asian Slaw!
