Ingredients 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive Oil 1 Crushed fresh Garlic 1 teaspoon Oregano Salt & pepper Bread - fresh, stale, white, wholemeal, grain, sourdough, sliced. Just whatever you have and whatever you want to use. I had a 2 day old ciabatta which I cut in half length ways.
Method Preheat your oven, use the grill setting on the highest temperature. In a little bowl add all the ingredients together, then spoon it over the bread slices.
Put it under the griller for about 3-5 minutes, keep an eye on them, once they're brown enough for you remove them.
You could also put slits into a loaf spoon the oil mixture into each cut and then foil the whole loaf and into the oven.
